A. Jimmy Garza is an entrepreneur, investor, and trusted advisor with deep roots in Texas and a track record of building enduring brands. From founding Bebo Fresh to partnering with legacy companies like Dixon Boots and Olsen-Stelzer Boots, Jimmy brings strategic insight and operational experience across food & beverage, agri-business, retail, and finance. He offers a founder-first lens shaped by decades of real-world execution—whether he's scaling startups, navigating produce investments, or advising public-private initiatives.
Jimmy is also a Managing Partner at Peña Garza Consulting, where he drives cross-border growth strategies and advises companies expanding into the U.S. market. His leadership helped bring Tehuacán Brillante spring water to over 100 H-E-B stores across Texas and secured major distribution deals with 7-Eleven, Buc-ee’s and Stripes convenience stores. His reputation for integrity and execution has made him a sought-after advisor for both private ventures and civic initiatives.
Jimmy has a deep track record in public service and economic development across Texas. From 2010 to 2015, he served as a City Commissioner in Pharr, gaining hands-on experience in municipal governance. He later served as a Senior Advisor to Dan Patrick’s successful 2014 campaign for Lieutenant Governor and as Finance Co-Chair for George P. Bush’s campaigns for Texas Land Commissioner and Attorney General. His leadership earned him appointments to key statewide boards, including the Governor’s Small Business Task Force Advisory Board, where he helped shape small business policy. Locally, Jimmy has held roles on the Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority, Hidalgo County Appraisal District, and the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge Board—Texas’s third-busiest trade port with Mexico. His contributions have been recognized by both Hidalgo County officials and the regional press.
